Towards the latter end of April, the infamously mysterious Internet antics of Trent Reznor surfaced yet again. Musings about a group called “How to Destroy Angels” swarmed the Internet, and speculation rose as to exactly how Reznor’s latest outfit would function.
The Kansas-based organization of inflammatory zealots responsible for the slogan, “God Hates Fags” consistently travels the country protesting everything from Jewish centers to homosexual-based events and celebrations. The WBC brought its caravan of hatred and anti-Semitism to the uber-liberal and homosexual friendly community of Long Beach, CA recently. And it would be safe to say that the welcome wagon never left the garage. Advocates and congregation organizers of the WBC were met by exponentially larger crowds of WBC protestors outraged that a group could justify such bigotry and anti-Semitism under the name of God.
